Rock Hill CPA Firms Merge
Rock Hill, South Carolina (December 2, 2013): The Rock Hill based CPA firms Marsha G. LePhew, CPA, PC and David Knoble, CPA, PLLC today announced their upcoming merger. Effective January 1, 2014 the new firm will be known as Knoble,LePhew and Associates, CPA’s, LLP (KLA).
“This merger will bring benefits to the clients of both firms.” said Marsha LePhew. “Our clients will have access to increased levels of service and expertise and our commitment to the highest quality client service will not change. We are excited about being associated with a firm that has the reputation of David Knoble, CPA, PLLC.”
“This strategic merger provides us with tremendous opportunities to broaden our professional services and our knowledge base,” said David Knoble, “and provide additional opportunities for growth and expansion through our use of technology. By building on both firms’ strengths and reputations as CPA’s, we will be able to serve an increasing number of individuals, small businesses and non-profits in the York County and surrounding areas. We are excited about adding to our knowledge base from the background and accomplishments of Ms. LePhew and her staff.”
Founded in 1991, Marsha G. LePhew, CPA ,PC is recognized for providing quality accounting and tax compliance services to individuals and local small businesses. LePhew is also active in the community serving on local boards such as Catawba Regional Development Corporation and Westminster Towers. She has also been active within her profession throughout her career and has served on various committees with both the South Carolina Association of Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to being a CPA, LePhew also holds the designations of Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Registered Life Planner (RLP).
Established in 2009, David Knoble, CPA, PLLC has been providing both audit and tax compliance services in North and South Carolina. The firm is highly regarded for assisting nonprofit organizations as well as small businesses in these areas. Licensed in both states and carrying the Certified Global Management Accountant designation as well as a Masters of Accounting, Mr. Knoble has been involved with the Boy Scouts of America for 23 years and various committees of Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, including the Bond Oversight Committee.
Knoble, LePhew and Associates will operate from 114 East Main Street in Old Town, Rock Hill. LePhew Financial Services, Inc. will continue to operate from 452 Lakeshore Parkway in Rock Hill and is not part of the merger.
